Measuring crosstalk of the FlashCam prototype camera for CTA
The Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) project is an international collaboration building an array of imaging atmospheric Cherenkov telescopes to measure very high energy gamma-rays. FlashCam is a camera system for the medium-sized telescopes of CTA and has reached a stage in its development, where a full protoype has been built and equipped with many final components. The behaviour of and interactions between its subcomponents have to be understood in detail to ensure a stable operation of the camera and to guarantee a reliable scientific output. The goal of this work is to characterise the digital trigger system and to find optimal sets of parameters for different scientific specifications. In this contribution, the design of the FlashCam system is introduced and an overview over first measurements characterising crosstalk effects is given.
